Art Murphy and Backslider formed in 2000 and are from Miramichi New Brunswick Canada.The band is lead by Art Murphy who has been performing since the 1960's.The band has 2 CD's to date called "First Gear/Rereleased".The bands sound is in the same vain as the 1960's early 1970's groups.Art recorded the 45rpm"Love Potion No 9"in Canada in the 1970's with his band Hard Road.You can purchase the Backslider CD's on line at http://www.saltwatersounds.com
